Facilities Electrician

Do you have experience in electrical installation? And a broad understanding of general maintenance and building work?

Our busy Facilities team requires an electrician with a flexible, hands-on approach to assist with the day-to-day Facilities operations, particularly in relation to buildings, equipment and premises.

Job Role

As Facilities Electrician you will:

  • Focus on electrical installation work across all sites
  • Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies
  • Contribute towards ensuring the business has a suitable working environment for its employees and their activities focusing on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
  • Carry out minor building repairs
  • Moving and erecting furniture within buildings and between sites
  • Basic maintenance of pool cars (cleaning, topping up fluids, checking lights, tyres, taking vehicle for service etc.)
  • Moving items between sites using the works van, obtaining help if required

Experience Required

Essential:

  • Experience in electrical installation
  • City & Guilds 2365 level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installion
  • Knowledge of testing and associated electrical safety
  • Hold a valid driving licence

Desirable:

  • Competence using the following Microsoft office programs, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of plumping systems
