Work as an Associate Consultant

About us

SEA provides high-quality specialist Technical Advice & Support (TAS) to customers within the capability, acquisition and support areas of Defence, both in the UK and for NATO. As an independent provider of engineering services, SEA delivers expert engineers, physicists, mathematicians and military domain Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the systems, software, communications, requirements and mechanical engineering fields.

Work as an Associate Consultant

We contract a significant amount of work to external SMEs, known as Associate Consultants (ACs), both in the UK and Europe.

We are continually developing our portfolio of high calibre CVs, which allows us to offer our customers an enhanced range of skills and our Associate Consultants a wide choice of roles. If you have a background in any of the Defence Domains (Maritime, Land, or Air) or have a Special Projects background, we would like to hear from you.

We have a range of current vacancies, in locations ranging from the South of England through Brussels and The Hague to Naples and Rome. Security Clearance

For all work, you will be required to have a minimum of an SC clearance. Some work requires more extensive clearance and we are particularly interested in those with higher clearances.

For work with NATO, you must be a national of a NATO member country.

Desirable skills, qualifications and experience

To work as an AC you will be required to hold valid certifications in your stated skill set and have experience at the appropriate level. We would normally expect you to have a minimum of five years’ experience in the Defence domain, but we do occasionally contract with SMEs who have less of a Defence background if their skills are applicable.
