06 Nov 2018
SEA is set to exhibit its range of defence capabilities at Indo Defence 2018 Expo & Forum – Indonesia’s largest tri-service defence industry event being held at Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Indonesia between 7 – 10 November 2018.
Hosted by the Ministry of Defence, INDO DEFENCE offers attendees free technical product presentations, live product demonstration and networking opportunities with industry experts.
Exhibiting as part of the UK pavilion, SEA will showcase its expertise and wide range of capabilities, including the supply of their Torpedo Launcher System and Krait Defence anti-submarine warfare system, which are currently provided in Indonesia and more widely in the Southeast Asia markets.
SEA currently works in close collaboration with military forces across Southeast Asia, including the Malaysian Navy, Royal Thai Navy and Philippine Navy. It has also built local supply chains to support its current contracts and has a regional office in Kuala Lumpur.
David Hinds, SEA’s Southeast Asia Vice President, Strategic Accounts, commented:
“INDO DEFENCE is the number one event in Indonesia to jointly cover air, land and sea, which means that it is a hub for senior representatives from across the Southeast Asian defence industries. We are delighted to be part of the UK pavilion and use this event as an opportunity to build on the partnerships we have with the defence industry in the region. Our innovative services are particularly relevant to some of the key defence issues facing Indonesia and Asian markets more widely. We look forward to demonstrating our capabilities at the show and expanding our important relationships in the region.”
