28 Oct 2019

SEA has recently appointed Stewart Rogers as Head of Transport Solutions.

In his new role, Stewart will be tasked with the continued development of SEA’s high integrity transport software and systems, alongside stakeholder engagement with organisations such as the British Parking Association and Intelligent Transport Systems UK. Stewart will also be involved in growing SEA’s international presence within the transport sector, particularly within the Australasian and American markets.

Stewart joins SEA from Siemens where he was the UK Police/Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Product Sales Manager. With more than a decade of experience within the ANPR sector, he brings with him extensive knowledge of both criminal and civil enforcement systems and procedures. In previous roles, Stewart also worked on the Leeds Clean Air Zone project and was sent on secondment to India, where he worked with the Indian Government on its Smart Cities initiative.

Steve Hill, Managing Director of SEA, said “We’re excited for Stewart to be joining us at such an important time for the business. Coming from an engineering background, but with exceptional recent transport industry experience, Stewart is uniquely placed to evolve our successful range of transport systems for the future. He is incredibly well-connected in the industry and brings with him an exciting vision for the business.”

Stewart Rogers, Head of Transport Solutions at SEA, said: “It is a brilliant time to be joining SEA. There is already a fantastic transport product suite to be working on, but ample opportunities to expand the business globally. We will be focusing on bringing the latest versions of our products to the market, while increasing our engagement with key stakeholders to share our innovative solutions.

“In evolving the product line, we see particular opportunity in ever-changing environmental regulation, which we will be helping our customers adhere to. It’s a sector that I have worked in before, and with SEA’s existing product line, one that I believe we can be extremely successful in.”
