Capability Development - C4ISTAR

SEA’s Capability Development team utilises its extensive Associate database to provide access to a powerful resource pool of highly qualified and proven individuals.

Exploitation of both this resource and our core subject matter experts, has allowed Capability Development to support a number of C4ISTAR projects within the European Defence Agency (EDA), for Primes within the UK Defence Industry and for the UK Ministry of Defence through the NITEWORKS partnership and a number of Dstl research frameworks.

In 2016, we provided EDA with a range of protocols to match in-service aircraft capabilities to a specific Surface to Air Fire (SAFFIRE) threat, thereby reducing risk and enabling the use of those platforms best suited to the environment.

Within the C4ISTAR arena, Remotely Piloted Air Systems (RPAS) are a rapidly expanding worldwide phenomenon.  SEA is well placed to exploit this capability surge, having access to a number of highly qualified ex-military RPAS pilots and instructors, some of whom have over 1000 flying hours on operational Unmanned Air Systems such as REAPER and WATCHKEEPER.
