Subsea Fastmate Connector

Designed to reduce pre-assembly and offshore installation time to an absolute minimum.

Fastmate Female Connector

The female connector assembly will be a cylindrical assembly directly mounted onto the end of the umbilical. The connector is designed to interface directly to the male fastmate connector.

The following elements will be incorporated into the design;

  • Glanded housings for female half of connector for each power core connection
  • Wet storage protective covers for each power core connection
  • Fully water-blocked armour termination assembly mounted directly to rear of female frame and with interface for either Vertebrate Bend Restrictor or bend reducer
  • Fibre Optic junction box and patch cable
  • LV stabplate connection interfaces
  • Lifting and handling
  • Coating and Cathodic protection
  • Female side of connection drive mechanism
  • Female guide bush
  • Through connection of earth and screening braids
Fastmate Female Connector

Fastmate Male Connector

The male connector assembly will be a cylindrical assembly directly mounted onto the end of the umbilical. The connector is designed to interface directly to the male fastmate connector or into a distribution connector hub with female interfaces.

  • Glanded housings for male half of connector for each power core connection
  • Flexible mounting arrangement for connector alignment and clearance allowance
  • Fully water-blocked armour termination assembly mounted directly to rear of female frame and with interface for either Vertebrate Bend Restrictor or bend reducer
  • Wet storage protective cover
  • Fibre Optic junction box and patch cable
  • LV stabplate connection interfaces
  • Lifting and handling
  • Coating and Cathodic protection
  • Male side of connection drive mechanism
  • Male Guide Pin
  • Through connection of earth and screening braids
