It’s Stress Awareness Day 2023, which is an opportunity to reflect on how stress can impact people in their lives. At SEA, we recognise the impact stress can have on our people, so we make it a priority to provide tools and support for them to manage it effectively.
From flexible and hybrid working, half-day Fridays, and a Wellbeing Day once a year, our people can make sure they get time off when they need it to focus on themselves and their families.
But sometimes, people do need a little bit of help, so we have an Online Wellbeing Centre available to all of our people, and in collaboration with CanadaLife, we also offer the myStrength App to everyone allowing people to self-help.
If they do need someone to talk to, we have Mental Health Ambassadors available on all our sites. We also offer Private Medical Insurance with Aviva, who can support people with their Mental Health Pathway.
On this Stress Awareness Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to assess their stress levels and reach out for support if needed. Whether it’s through one of our channels, or just by talking to a friend. You don’t have to face stress alone. Let’s work together to build a healthier, more resilient community.
