The company was awarded the International Trade & Exports Award for its success in exporting its defence capabilities to armed forces across the globe. SEA has recently been awarded a £26m contract by New Zealand’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) to build and install communications systems on two Royal New Zealand Navy frigates. Additionally, SEA was awarded a contract to provide two complete KraitSense systems, the company’s innovative anti-submarine warfare solution, to a Southeast Asian Navy.
SEA has also been awarded significant contracts to supply the UK armed forces - a £36m contract to upgrade the torpedo launcher and countermeasures systems across a number of UK Royal Navy vessels, as well as a £135m contract for the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to provide it’s Ancilia trainable decoy launcher to improve Royal Navy surface Ship defensive capabilities.

The company’s products are designed, developed and manufactured at its large facility in Barnstaple, North Devon, which employs 230 people.
