SEA is honoured to be a Gold Sponsor of the Somerset Festival of Remembrance, taking place at Wells Cathedral on Saturday, 1 November. This special one-off event marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, commemorating the stories and sacrifices of the people of Somerset during that pivotal time in history.
As a local employer with deep roots in Frome and across the South West, SEA is proud to support this significant community gathering. Our sponsorship reflects our ongoing commitment to honouring those who have served, and to living our values of respect, integrity, and social responsibility; principles we’ve pledged to uphold.
The Festival promises a moving and memorable evening of music, storytelling, and ceremony, featuring performances by the Central Band of the Royal British Legion and the Yeovilton Military Wives Choir, as well as contributions from Somerset’s cadet forces, veterans, and civic leaders. Highlights include:
The evening will be compered by former BBC broadcasters Clinton Rogers DL and Ali Vowles DL, ensuring a heartfelt and professionally curated experience.
