SEA Training Team Successfully Deliver ‘Train the Trainer’ Course to Royal Malaysian Navy and LUNAS

As part of our recent Support And Training contract with the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN), we have successfully completed the Train the Trainer programme with six individuals from both the Royal Malaysian Navy and LUNAS  at our Barnstaple facility in North Devon.

This training contains modules grouped into three parts:

• The role of the trainer
• Training planning
• Training delivery

The course is designed to develop the core skills required to deliver training, including understanding the audience, the role of the trainer, how to plan and structure training content, and delivering engaging information using modern teaching techniques.

Following successful completion of the Train the Trainer course, SEA’s ongoing support includes a recertification opportunity in 2028 to provide ongoing knowledge transfer and enable the self-sufficiency and long-term capability availability for the RMN.

The contract builds on SEA’s existing relationship with the RMN following the contract extension with LUNAS to supply its fixed triple configuration Torpedo Launcher System (TLS) to the Royal Malaysian Navy.
