Having built and scaled manufacturing functions from concept to maturity, embedding lean and digital tools to deliver high quality and technically complex engineered products, Matt’s experience spans global organisations and startups, with expertise in compliance, continuous improvement, and modern manufacturing tools and systems.
In his new role, Matt, together with our teams and partners, will build on SEA’s reputation, enforce a strong culture of quality, strengthen collaboration between teams, and drive operational excellence, ensuring performance that consistently exceeds customer expectations in the UK and overseas.
On joining SEA, Matt said: "I’m honoured to join the SEA Leadership Team at such an exciting time in its journey. In my first weeks, it’s clear that SEA’s greatest strength lies in its people — talented, committed teams who bring innovation and dedication to everything they do. I’m passionate about creating an environment where colleagues feel supported and able to thrive, while ensuring operations remain agile, efficient, and aligned to deliver excellence."
Richard Flitton, Managing Director at SEA, added: "We’re delighted to welcome Matt to the team. Matt brings a wealth of experience in modernising and driving excellence in manufacturing operations and will be a great asset to SEA as we continue to strengthen and grow our business. His leadership will help embed a strong culture of quality, delivery and responsiveness into operations, as we work towards being a trusted supplier in the defence sector."
